This one has been posted before, but it's well worth a re-post.
For all who have not watched this fabulous documentary about yet another "maha-fraud" before,
here is "David wants to fly":

Quoted

The unparalleled success story of the Maharishi Mahe$h Yogi began in the Himalayas. With the aim of spreading his meditation practice this Indian guru travelled to Hollywood at the end of the fifties where he secured a great many prominent followers including, later on, the Beatles, Mia Farrow and Clint Eastwood. Today, almost six million people all over the world practice transcendental meditation™. David, a young filmmaker in search of inspiration, also decides to try this method of meditation – after all, his idol, director David Lynch, has assured him personally that TM is a source of creativity and the key to success.

No english version available atm. (???)

I saw this a while ago..-I guess David Lynch also became 'fanatic' or whatever, when you see those guys with golden stuff on their head you know that you are a part of the paranoiac-messianic-world-savers:) 8o

SM's obsession with titles just reminded me of an old zen-story:

Keichu, the great Zen teacher of the Meiji period, was the manager of Tofuku cathedral in Kyoto. One day the governor of Kyoto came to see him. His servant handed over the governors card, which said "Kitagati, Governor of Kyoto". "There is nothing to discuss with such a person" Keichu said to his servant. "Tell him to get out of here."
The servant gave the card back with apologies. "That was my mistake," said the governor, and he crossed out the words "Governor of Kyoto" on the card. "Ask your teacher again."
"Oh, that's Kitagati?" Said the teacher when he saw the card. "I wish to see him!"
